Part of the 12th Anniversary celebrations of the FCT was an initiative to raise funds, using the enthusiasm of Members, to assist the most needy organizations in Thailand. Particular focus was to assist charities such as the Rajpracha Samasai Foundation that is under the Royal Patronage of H.M. The King of Thailand and other non-profit organizations that are not supported by the government which have very low administrative expenses.
The Club believes that education and healthcare is not something that everybody can easily afford, many take it for granted. It is truly believed that the funds raised by the Club for charities could make a difference for some of the underprivileged people. Through the Club's funding and also through volunteer work, the Club hopes to bring care and encouragement to the people in need as well as create a positive atmosphere for the community.
For 2007 the Club managed to raise a total support of Baht 150,000 for charities. It's hoped that by the end of next year the Club could report to readers that the amount would be Maintained. The Club takes this opportunity to thank all the Members that have kindly provided their support for our activities to raise funds and is looking forward for another year of successful fund raising.
