Events
The Club organizes a variety of events each year. The social side of these
events is important in that members attending them can meet others with
whom they share a common interest, thereby enhancing their enjoyment of the
Club and for many ownership of their Ferrari. Including all the meetings,
there are over 10 local events on the calendar.
Sprints
The Club's series of Sprint events that are organised throughout the year
are aimed at providing opportunities for members, better known as
Sprinters, to get together and enjoy some short and long distance driving
upcountry. In the past Sprint events have been arranged to popular beach
resorts such as Pattaya and Hua Hin, and also to the ancient capital of
Ayudhaya for the short distances. For long distances members have been able
to participate in Sprint events that have taken them all the way to the
northern capital of Chiang Mai and to the southern island of Phuket
Track Days
These allow you to drive your car on Bira International circuit in
Chonburi. These are occasions when you can enjoy the freedom of driving
without speed restrictions and can appreciate the levels of performance
that are available from your car and can, as a result, be both a better and
safer driver in normal everyday motoring. Instructors are at times on hand
to guide and advise and calm your nerves!
Challenge
The FCT Challenge is the go-kart racing series that takes place over 3 rounds at PTT Indoor Go-Kart Circuit and is intended to promote the competitive spirit amongst Members and also their children. There are four classes, the first "Dino" being for the Children, the second "F1" for those adults weighing below 70 kilos, the third "Le Mans" for those adults weighing betwen 71 - 80 kilos and the forth "Grande Turismo" for those adults weighing above 81 kilos. Championship titles and trophies are given to Members and thier children to have highest aggregate scores for the 3 rounds.
Golf Cup
The FCT Golf Cup is another of our Club's sporting events that takes place over 2 rounds at selected championship courses around Thailand and is intended to promote the competitive spirit amongst golfing Members. There are Championship titles and trophies given to Members that have highest aggregate scores for the 2 rounds.
Social Occasions
A special dinner takes place at the end of the year to celebrate the end of
the membership year. Other lunches, dinners and drinks are held during the
many Sprint events that provide informal opportunities for members and
their guests to socialise.
Invitations
Invitations are received from the major motoring festivals and motor sport
events in Thailand and world-wide, as well as motor shows national and
local, importers' own track days, other car clubs' events, including the
overseas Ferrari Clubs and European tours and events where Ferraris take
part such as the Tour de France and the Mille Miglia.
